    Have a BankVic Qantas Visa credit card

    Complimentary International Travel Insurance is only available to current BankVic Qantas Visa credit cardholders.

  • Qantas Points

    Use your card for a minimum of $500 of pre-paid travel costs

    Use either your primary or additional card to charge a minimum of $500 of your pre-paid travel costs including airline tickets or your hotel accommodation prior to commencing the trip.

  • Make a payment

    Have a return ticket

    You have a return overseas travel ticket before you leave Australia.

  • Becoming a BankVic member

    Have to be under 81 years of age

    You are aged under 81 years at the time you become eligible for the cover available.

Who else is eligible for cover under this insurance?

You, your spouse and your dependants may be covered under this insurance. Please refer to the Policy Information Booklet to view the eligibility criteria for your spouse and your dependants.

What are the covers available?

You, your spouse and your dependants may be covered for the following items, subject to the terms, conditions, exclusions, limits, applicable sub-limits and any eligibility requirements as set out in the Policy Information Booklet.

  • Overseas Emergency Assistance and Overseas Medical Expenses*

    Designed to cover your overseas emergency medical, hospital, ambulance and repatriation costs in the event you become sick, injured or pass away while overseas. Access to 24/7 overseas medical assistance also available.

  • Luggage & Personal Items*

    Cover available for your covered items and valuables if they are stolen, accidentally damaged or are permanently lost during the period of cover available for your journey.

  • Trip Cancellations*

    Designed to cover the non-refundable portion of your pre-paid travel and accommodation arrangements if your journey is cancelled, rescheduled or shortened.

  • Rental Vehicle Excess*

    Designed to cover you in the event your rental vehicle is damaged or stolen and you are liable to pay an excess or damage fee.

  • Travel Documents, Transaction Cards & Travellers Cheques*

    Designed to cover the loss, theft or damage of your travel documents, transaction cards and travellers cheques that were taken with you on your journey.

  • Personal Liability*

    Cover for your legal liability for harm or damage caused by you to another person or property.
