Our commitment to workplace gender equality

BankVic is dedicated to fostering inclusivity and celebrating diversity in our workplace, aligning with our core values of Together, Honest and Brave. We champion equal opportunities for all, striving to empower individuals to achieve their full potential, which we believe strengthens both our organization and the communities we serve.

Our commitment to gender equality is evident through annual pay equity audits and industry benchmarking. In 2023, BankVic achieved a 14% lower average total remuneration gender pay gap compared to the banking industry average, thanks to a balanced representation of genders across our leadership. However, our current pay gap reflects a higher proportion of females in lower-paid and part-time roles.

At BankVic, we ensure all genders have equal opportunities for success, both professionally and personally, with policies such as equal pay and comprehensive caring benefits. Our parental leave package, including twelve weeks of paid leave and twelve months of paid superannuation, supports individuals in growing their families. We are committed to ongoing efforts to reduce the gender pay gap through transparent policies, increased visibility of women in leadership roles, and comprehensive equal opportunity initiatives.
