The TLC Ambulance, a service run by children’s charity TLC for Kids, continues to bring joy to seriously ill children with special experiences that make them smile. Earlier this year the TLC Ambulance was able to take Maddy on a special trip to one of her favourite places. Spending the day at Collingwood Children’s Farm with her Mum, Dad, Brother and Sister-in-Law, Maddy got to meet their animals, and create some memorable moments.
Due to Maddy’s medical conditions, without the TLC Ambulance, it would not have been possible for her to get out of hospital to enjoy this experience. Volunteer Ambulance Victoria Paramedics Lee and Adam created a safe environment to transport Maddy to Collingwood Children’s Farm, a place where the team made Maddy and family feel so welcome.
