The Angela Taylor Memorial Walk and Run took place on Sunday 18 April with nearly 1,000 people taking part to support the Blue Ribbon Foundation and honour Angela Rose Taylor who died in the line of duty when a car bomb exploded outside the police complex in Russell Street, Melbourne, in 1986. We also honoured other fallen officers, including Leading Senior Constable Lynnette Taylor, Senior Constable Kevin King, Constable Glen Humphris and Constable Josh Prestney, who tragically lost their lives on 22 April 2020.

It was a fantastic morning at Albert Park Lake as our people donned the BankVic t-shirt to run or walk either 5km or 10km. As one of our most important events on the calendar, our team, including our beloved dogs, gathered around the BankVic marquee to mingle with others from the police, health and emergency services.

We look forward to supporting the Angela Taylor Memorial Walk and Run in 2022 and the Blue Ribbon Foundation throughout the year.
