Where it all began

50 years ago, six Victoria Police officers saw the need to support the financial wellbeing of their colleagues. Today, BankVic has grown to over 120,000 members from the police, health and emergency services sector. As a bank that is 100% owned by our members, we are proud to reinvest our profits into our members and their communities including our partnerships with Victoria Police Legacy, Blue Ribbon Foundation, and The Police Association Victoria.

Where are we now

We exist to serve those who protect and serve our community. As the small bank of big opportunity, we want to make a real impact in the work we do. Small enough to care about every member, yet big enough to matter, we have $3 billion in assets and have provided over 40 grants, partnerships and sponsorships so our members can go further in their careers and have even greater impact in the community.

We know we are stronger together. As a certified B Corporation, we are committed to building stronger communities that are financially, socially and environmentally sustainable. From supporting grassroots emergency services sporting teams, developing future leaders in the health sector, or investing in critical research, we are passionate about supporting the causes that matter most to our members.
