This year BankVic is thrilled to again be a gold sponsor of the WalkWest Virtual Landmarks Challenge 2020. The Challenge supports our partners, Western Health, as they work with their local community to deliver excellence in patient care.

Western Health manages three acute public hospitals: Footscray Hospital at Footscray; Sunshine Hospital at St Albans and the Williamstown Hospital, and provide a range of community based services, along with a large Drug and Alcohol Service.

Walk West: get involved!

Walk West is taking place from 10-30 November. The 42km walk in 21 days provides a great opportunity to support our healthcare workers and the community out west. You can walk anytime, anywhere in your local neighbourhood, following State Government COVID-19 regulations.

Western Health Foundation Staff Grants 2020

Through our long-standing commitment to Fostering Education for Communities, we also proudly sponsor the Western Health Foundation Staff Grants 2020, which aims to celebrate the fantastic research and quality improvement work from across Western Health.

Grants of up to $5000 have been open to all Western Health staff, including clinical and non-clinical teams and individuals, for the following activities: professional development; furthering research work, or publication of research findings; consumable equipment required to support a research project; and, project-specific activity, where the project is aligned to a Western Health strategic priority. Applications closed in mid-October and we look forward to recognising the Grant recipients in November.
