RBA interest rate decrease, August 2025
On 12 August 2025, the Reserve Bank of Australia announced a decrease to the official cash rate from 3.85% to 3.60% - a decrease of 0.25%.
BankVic will pass on the full 0.25% decrease to all variable rate home loan accounts, with the changes effective from 26 August 2025.
We will be writing to all our home loan members soon to let them know their new loan details and repayments.
Savings account interest rates
BankVic will review the interest rates on all our deposit accounts and make an announcement in due course.
