BankVic is the major sponsor of the Angela Taylor Memorial Run/Walk, taking place on Sunday 18 April at Albert Park Lake or in a location of your choice.

The event provides an opportunity for the community to get together to honour Angela Rose Taylor who died in the line of duty when a car bomb exploded outside the police complex in Russell Street, Melbourne, in 1986.

Angela Rose Taylor is, and will remain a symbol of all that is good in Victoria Police. Angela was committed to helping others in the community, and Victoria Police and emergency services continue to demonstrate those values. The Angela Taylor Memorial Run/Walk continues to be held in her honour and in honour of all those who have died in the line of duty.

Our BankVic people have been registering in the BankVic Team and look forward to another terrific community event, joined by others from partner organisations. Many from Victoria Police, emergency services, the health sector and the public are getting on board as we welcome back COVID-19 Safe community events.

You can register too. Registration closes on Saturday 10 April, unless already maxed out at 1,000 registrants.

Visit the Angela Taylor Memorial Run/Walk website for details.
