BankVic continues to broaden its support for regional Victoria and is pleased to be a sponsor of the Barwon Health Foundation Grant Rounds to assist the Foundation as it invests in equipment, care and projects of greatest priority and need across Barwon Health.
Since the introduction of the Grant Rounds in March 2020 the Foundation has invested over $350,000 across several different areas of Barwon Health, with the grants being open to all Barwon Health staff across all sites and departments. Our support in funding a grant is part of our long-standing commitment to healthcare professionals and our partners to create safe, healthy and strong communities.
The most recent Grant Round was finalised and celebrated this June, with a ceremony on Wednesday 16 June to announce the worthy recipients. We’re pleased to be supporting the grant for Barwon Health’s Surf Coast Community Mental Health Team so they can purchase sensory modulation equipment and undertake education for clinical staff who will assist patients experiencing anxiety, anger management and sensory processing difficulties. The new equipment aims to improve the quality of life and wellbeing of adult patients aged from 26-64 years.
